Kennyo Kosa: Abbott of a fortress-monastery of Ikko-Ikki warrior monks. The Ikko were a radical sect of Buddhist monks with close ties to a peasant revolutionary movement during the Sengoku Jidai. They were the first to master the use of muskets in Japan and held off the armies of Oda Nabunaga ("The Demon King of Japan") for ten years.
