This mini homemade version of one of our favorite store-bought treats, will run rings around the original. Why? Because nothing beats the taste of fresh out of the oven homemade Mini Fruit Pockets oozing with our favorite fruit preserves.
Basic Paleo Sweet Nut Crust makes 1 2 1/2 cups ground nuts 1/4 teaspooncinnamon 1/4 cup maple syrup honey 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted Stir together the nuts, cinnamon and sugar. Mix in melted butter. Press mixture into bottom and up sides of a 9 inch pie pan. Chill in fridge for 30 to 45 minutes. Preheat the oven to 350'F. Place the pie plate on a cookie sheet, and bake on the middle rack for 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool before filling.
