Hot Toddy with a Twist: 8 oz whiskey (or bourbon / brandy), 6 T honey, 2 lemons, 4 c apple cider, 4 earl grey tea bags, 4 cinnamon sticks. In a small pan over med-low heat, heat the cider, cinnamon, honey, and whisky until hot, stirring to dissolve the honey. Remove from the heat, add the tea bags, and steep for 2 minutes. Remove the tea bags and squeeze in the juice of half a lemon. Pour into four glass mugs. Garnish with the cinnamon sticks and some lemon slices cut into half moons.
Hot Toddy 1 tablespoon honey, 1 oz whisky (jameson), 1 lemon wedge, 1 cup hot water, 1 teabag (lipton) Directions: Coat the bottom of your coffee cup with honey. Add the whisky and lemon juice from the lemon wedge. In a separate pot combine the water and the tea and allow to steep for 5 minutes. Add the tea mixture to the honey mixture.
