After their weekend home slip-up against Chessington & Hook Utd when they looked particularly fatigued, it has left them a mountain to climb to win the Premier Division.    But despite having to win every match left to guarantee the league title from Egham Town, the Green Lions still have room for one more defeat.

PROMOTION is now far from assured for Guernsey FC after a mixed CCL Premier Division weekend saw them effectively lose further ground to leaders Egham Town.    The Green Lions started off their home double-header boosted by news that Egham had only drawn 1-1 at Horley Town and GFC made the most of it, hammering Hanworth Villa 5-1.    But they slipped up yesterday, losing 2-0 against Chessington & Hook United, leaving the Lions 15 points adrift.
