The building on the right belonged to George Bailye, a tailor and hairdresser who resided in East Grinstead's High Street. The town well and pump, enclosed by railings, can be seen in front of Bailye's tailor shop. William Harding was managing a tobacconist's shop in Middle Row in the early 1860s around the time he took up photography. East Grinstead Photographers
