The John William Gill Collection-Postcards and Love Notes Mr. John William Gill was born in 1888, the son of Richard Gill. John Gill lived at 3 Griffin Road, Clevedon, England. He was employed as the chauffeur for the Reverand C. R. Braithwaite, vicar of Hewish St. Ann, near the town of Puxton.
Clevedon Pier is a seaside pier in the town of Clevedon, Somerset on the English side of the Severn Estuary. It has been described by Sir John Betjeman, as "the most beautiful pier in England" and was designated a Grade I listed building in 2001.
