Brassaï in Paris: A Photographer's Love Letter to the City of Light
George Brassaï (nee Gyula Halász) (9 September 1899 — 8 July 1984) was a Hungarian (Transylvanian) photographer sculptor, and filmmaker who rose to international fame in France in the early 20th century. It would seem that Brassai shot everything and was allowed everywhere in 1920′s Paris.

I like this photo by Brassai because the light coming out of the lighthouse outlines it and creates a more interesting composition and makes it easier to focus on it.
