Mary Tudor and Charles Brandon Duke of Suffolk
Joan of Kent, mother of Richard II, who was deposed by his Lancastrian cousin, Henry Bolingbroke (Henry IV)
Henry II was notorious for his illicit relations with other men’s wives, and for having several illegitimate children. However, few records containing information about them have survived, and only records about the most infamous mistresses would have been written to start with. Henry II married Eleanor of Aquitaine in 1152. Generation 28 on family tree.
Geoffrey of Anjou - 1140 Great diapering in the background
George Plantagenet, Duke of Clarence. Brother of Kings Richard III and Edward IV. Father of Edward, the last full-blooded Plantagenet male. Accused of treason for imagining the death of his brother, the King Edward IV, and supporting the deposed Henry VI, he was executed by his brother, and as legend has it, was drowned in a vat of Malmsey wine in 1478 in the Tower of London.
