Using BIGGER brushes for blending & layering on canvas

Using a large flat brush to start the initial layers on an empty canvas (even on a "small painting") can feel fun and can help you create beautiful color blends and effects. Here in this short clip from one of the lessons from the "Vibrant Layers with Acrylics & Mediums" online course (by Deniz Altug) we are using a • Liquitex Flat Brush (we use the 4 inch, 3 inch, and 2 inch sizes in the completion of paintings in the course). • The paint materials here Golden fluid acrylics and an acrylic medium (Golden glazing liquid). • The medium helps with the blending, layering, and with creating beautiful translucent effects in the end result.
