Il Conte

Il Conte is our (extremely unique) variation of a 'negroni'. After 15-20 seconds, Campari gives way to subtle hints of coconut with just a touch of smoke from the Mezcal. Cadello brings balanced accents of chocolate and vanilla. Il Conte was created by our own @robert_deiana_cadello88 and it is truly special. 25ml Cadello 25ml Campari 20ml Koko Kanu Run 10ml Vida Mezcal Stir over ice for 30 seconds. Strain into a coupette glass. Serve neat and garnish with lemon zest.

We subscribe to the story that it was invented by legendary British bartender Dick Badsell (who initially referred to it as Vodka Espresso, and then later ‘Pharmaceutical Stimulant’ – great name). In Venice, the word casa is abbreviated to ca', particularly when used to name a noble family's palace. We wanted to name our new spirit after a Venetian palace in which grand masked balls would have been held during the peek of the Venetian Empire. Hence... Ca' Dello... Cadello
