The unique underwater world of Raja Ampat is being saved by a combination of tourism and protection, involving local inhabitants and making profits. Andrew Miners and a small team of committed people have achieved the establishment of a marine sanctuary, a "no-take-zone", in one of the world's most bio-diverse reefs. Thanks to this the marine life will get a chance to recover and replenish. The project is financed by the income of his eco-resort and donations.
