Painting a large artwork by Claire Desjardins
Difficulty: Medium I paint in layers, and if I’m lucky, I get lost in my work. When I leave the house after my morning coffee, and all of a sudden it’s suppertime, it’s a good day. My newest painting, Fingers and Toes, is 48 x 80“. I love big canvases like this because there is room to explore and be free. I still have to photograph this painting in her final stages so that I can put her up on my website.
