The faszination of Massai Land
In the middle of nowhere, we find a Massai market, where you can buy everything you need when living here: vegetables, fruits, cattles, goats, solar panels, rubber sandales made of car tires, colorful dresses, textiles, handcrafts, jewelleries, food that you have never seen before and more. Entering the market we are immediately surrounded by dealers. And the bargain begins. If you get the initial price down to a tenth, you have made a very good deal. Try out when you get there yourself!

Martin Tango, the head of LEA Ministry, has a big trust: raising over 200,000 USD is an unbelievable amount of money in Tanzania. His trust is in God – so he starts the project despite uncertainty if and when the full amount will be available.
An idea started to shape up …
In 2015, I came across this advertisement from a German bank and was thrilled by the idea combining social activities helping to build a better future for children in Africa (and their families and communities) with my own strong interest in traveling around the world collecting unforgettable memories for me, my family and our friends. This illustrates well what “Bridge of Hope” is about - a bridge between two worlds.
New classrooms for Karama Primary School in Tanzania
Building new classrooms in a primary school can take a lot of time – not only in Africa, but also in Germany. I have never seen a construction of a public building being finished in less than 4 months – until we came to Tanzania. The community there managed to build the new classrooms with deep personal engagement at hyper speed.
A dream comes true
Over 45 years ago a children’s book was published illustrating life in different nations on different continents. My wife Simone was inspired by it when she was five years old. One picture that was striking her was the picture of Africa. Her dream, that one day she would go to Africa – work there, live there, support Africa – that dream survived through all the years.
People in Tanzania
